Lots of new and exciting things have been happening over here at Montreal Runner Mom! Since I ran my first marathon at the end of September I have jumped aboard a brand new fitness and health regime that is literally sweeping the nation! Here in Canada and especially in Quebec, we are a little late to the game but all over the USA and in many other parts of Canada, the Beachbody craze is in full swing and has been for some time now.
Originally I learned about Beachbody workouts and protein shakes from some people I met at a seminar last spring. At the time, it was all new to me and I didn’t really pay attention. However, as I began to follow them on social media, little by little I began to notice. Notice what you ask? Insanely awesome results! They started posting about their new fitness and nutrition plans which was nice but what really impressed me was their pictures! They all started losing tons of weight, building muscle tone and some no joke, even began looking like fitness models. So to say I was intrigued would be an understatement!
So with winter just around the corner here in Canada, I knew I needed a plan to stay fit over the coming winter months. Last winter I joined a gym and hated every minute of it. When it’s dark, snowy and minus 25 degrees Celsius outside, the last thing I want to do is drive to the gym! Although I will definitely still continue to enjoy winter running on mild days, 30 minute home workouts that focus on cardio and building muscle tone seemed much more my style than feeling forced to become a gym rat against my will 😉
So I signed up and tried it out. Result? Loved the workouts, nutrition guides and especially the delicious super food protein shakes! However the absolute BEST part was having a coach help keep you on track as well as the support and accountability of the online Challenge Groups. I really don’t believe in promoting anything that I don’t actually do or use so believe me when I say that I truly LOVED my personal Beachbody experience. So much so that I wanted to share it with EVERYONE! So I decided to get out of my comfort zone yet again and become a Beachbody Coach
I am currently hosting an online Challenge Group and will be hosting more in the coming months. These Challenge Groups are the right choice if you have weight loss or fitness goals that you would like to reach, if you need help making changes in your diet, if you want to improve problems with fatigue, energy levels or even just to connect with other like minded people!
For myself, these fitness programs are an addition to my running training but everyone is on their own journey. Some challengers join because they know they need to make serious changes to their health and they are just at the beginning of their fitness journey. Others like myself, add these programs into an existing training plan. The point is, it doesn’t really matter where you journey starts. Just do it and start living each day with passion and excitement! Make a commitment to be as good to yourself as you are to those you love.
